It was another beautiful day in Mwanza. Steve and Gayle completed two more spinal surgeries at Bugando. It was truly amazing. I could tell the Tanzanian surgeons had learned so much already from their previous surgical day with our medical team. They each had more confidence in what they were doing and were able pick up on the new surgical techniques with ease.
It was amazing to know that these patients that had once struggled walking would one day painlessly and effortlessly walk well again due to their surgical help. Dr. Andrew made rounds on the postop patients that we did surgery on yesterday. Each patient was already so relieved and full of gratitude. They already had less pain and were each able to move around without issue. Their lives have been forever changed thanks to Hope Ministries and their amazing medical provision.
