Whatever emotions this season may be stirring up within, May we remember that we are not alone in them. God knows exactly what we’re dealing with. He knows exactly how we’re feeling. He is the God who created the expansive earth, the depths of the sea, and He created each one of us and our unique emotions that come from within. Every detail that He created, He exclaimed that it was “very good” from the very beginning.
He then sent His only son, Jesus, to this earth. Jesus walked through various emotions of His own: grief, pain, agony, joy, sadness, anger. His level of empathy is unmatched. He knows exactly how we’re feeling in each different moment and each various season. Whatever emotion you’re feeling today, it is not too big, strong or powerful that He isn’t able to meet you and sit with you in.
