Rejoicing in Our Afflictions

…but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character and proven character produces hope. This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Romans 5:3-5

//

As we draw closer to our next trip back over to Tanzania, where we witness many trials and afflictions, and as you walk through various trials throughout your life, may we all be reminded of Paul’s instructions to rejoice in our many afflictions. For we know that working through these afflictions will produce within us a much needed endurance. Our endurance then is able to produce a well-balanced character, and this character allows us to naturally yield an abundance of hope.

May we be reminded friends and family, that no matter the battles, no matter the storm, God will never disappoint us. He will never let us down, and He will never forget to bring us a new Hope in any of our trials and afflictions.

He is with us. He is for us. So then who can be against us?

With Love,

Hope Ministries
