“When Jesus saw her weeping and saw the other people wailing with her, a deep anger welled up within him, and he was deeply troubled. “Where have you put him?” he asked them. They told him, “Lord, come and see.”
The people who were standing nearby said, “See how much he loved him!””
John 11:33-34, 36 NLT
Jesus weeps. He weeps over the lost, the hurting, the broken-hearted, the sick, the poor and those who are experiencing deep troubles. Take courage that our God is a God of Love, who sent His one and only son down on earth to empathize with us, walk with us and weep with us. Jesus experiences a deep anger over our troubles. Whether you are in America or sitting in Tanzania whatever troubles you may be facing, let us fear not the current state of our world, but turn to the One who loves us most and ask God, the Most High, to sit with us in our emotions, weep with us in our heart ache and provide for us in all of our troubles today.
