God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because He first loved us.
(1 John 4:16, 18-19)
The welcome of a warm embrace to a child is usually received with an inner release of fear, anxiety, and worries that they held inside.
It is easy, at times, to let our own inner fears cripple our journey in this life. Maybe you have dealt with a fear of death and dying, abandonment, rejection or maybe a fear of losing a job, spouse or child. When we look to Scripture, the Bible tells us Jesus’ perfect love and power has the capacity to cast out all fear held withinside of us. This doesn’t mean that anything challenging or hard will never come our way, but it does mean that in hard times He will pick us up with His embrace and provide us with the full strength and courage to walk through any narrow ways. When we walk alongside of God, we are able to live a life fully alive with peace and well-being without any crippling fears or anxieties of this world.
Let us offer up our worries to the Lord today. Let us trust Him with every minute of our tomorrow and every minute of our now and believe that He will get us through any journey, trial or challenge that may come our way.
With Love,
