The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.
Psalm 145:8-9
Even when our eyes cannot see and our earthly minds cannot grasp everything that occurs in our own lifetime, we can still trust knowing that God is a good God. He is merciful, compassionate and slow to anger. He is always working things out for and on our behalf. He will never leave nor forsake any of us at any point in our life, so while we may not understand the hardships, the poverty, the abuse, the neglect or even the dry seasons of waiting, we can trust in knowing that He is God; He is good, and He is Love.
