If he tells us that he will renew our strength, He must have known that we would journey through a season of exhausting weariness. If he asks us to surrender and trust His plans, He must have known that we would go through times of immense doubt and disbelief. If He tells us to not fear despite the valleys and darkness that surrounds us, He must have known that, at times, we’d hardly be able to see His Light.
Today let us trust His promise and know that He is with us despite every disappointment, heartache and frustration that we ever encounter in life. He knew these days would come, and He tells us that He will never leave nor forsake us. May we be reminded that His love remains the same and that He is with us every step of the way.
