{"id":2983,"date":"2018-06-03T12:12:09","date_gmt":"2018-06-03T17:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hopeold.tadtime.dev\/?p=2983"},"modified":"2018-06-03T12:12:09","modified_gmt":"2018-06-03T17:12:09","slug":"sunday-june-3rd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hopeministries.co\/sunday-june-3rd\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunday, June 3rd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>June 3rd<\/p>\n<p>Today I say good-bye to a country I love and people that are like family to me.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>As they say in Africa, \u201cIt is not good-bye, but until we meet again\u201d.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We never know when that will be, but all believe we will be together again.<\/p>\n<p>Africa is where my heart resides even when I am long gone and far away, and my thoughts and prayers are always with the lovely people of Tanzania.<\/p>\n<p>I always learn so much from these people and it is a place I feel so close to God.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Through the struggles and challenges we face while we are here, I always feel God\u2019s presence which provides me with comfort and support.<\/p>\n<p>I feel blessed to have shared this journey with a great team.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I pray that God has touched their hearts in some way and that they will carry this with them the rest of their lives.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>They will come home with many stories to share about their experiences here.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>They have touched many people\u2019s lives and everyone will be forever changed. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I am humbled and strengthened by the Tanzanian\u2019s faith amid so much poverty and challenges that these people face. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A special thanks to my Tanzanian Assistant, Julius!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I could not do this without him.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He is like a son to me and he has a loving and caring heart to help his people.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He is always here to help me and he is awesome with the teams.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I so love him and his family.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>His children call me \u201cbibi\u201d which means grandma.<\/p>\n<p>Also a special thanks to my drivers Freeman and Faraja, who help transport my teams and are truly a part of the team.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>They are always available to help me and always make sure the team is safe. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to all of you for your prayers, words of support and for all the donors that have provided financial support to Hope Ministries.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>You have touched so many people\u2019s lives.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>God bless you all!!<\/p>\n<p>We are on the way to the airport and the team is excited to see their families and friends.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It has been a great trip.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>A special thanks to my husband who allows his crazy wife to fly halfway across the world and be gone for a long time.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He is my rock and I appreciate his support and love.<\/p>\n<p>Nakupenda sana na Mungu akubariki sana (I love you all and God bless you). <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mama Gayle<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday,\u00a0 June 3rd Today I say good-bye to a country I love and people that are like family to me.\u00a0 As they say in Africa, \u201cIt is not good-bye, but until we meet again\u201d.\u00a0 We never know when that will be, but all believe we will be together again.
