For we live by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7
Maybe over this past year, you’ve experienced feelings of isolation and maybe a majority of your prayers have gone unanswered. If so, you aren’t alone in these feelings or experiences. In 2 Corinthians, Paul tells us there will be a time where we need to live by faith instead of by sight. In times of silence, we need to press in our faith, recall our memories of when God felt close and near, and utilize our knowledge of His truth when doubt overwhelms our souls. When we press on in this race, even when we can’t see or feel God’s presence, it’s then that our relationship with Him has the capacity to grow stronger than ever.
