Change

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.
Isaiah 43:2

Change is necessary, and change can also be extremely challenging.

Giving ourselves the space to experience all of life’s changes isn’t always easy. It is okay when you are experiencing a season of change to give yourself grace for any present emotion, gratitude for any experiences from your past, and prayers for reviving endurance needed for your future.

Maybe you are currently walking through a season of change right now. Maybe, like our most recent team to Tanzania, you’re making adjustments back home after being away on a recent trip. Maybe you’re experiencing new “firsts” with a loved one no longer physically present on earth, or maybe you’re stepping into a new season of life.

And maybe in this season, your knees have started to buckle, your legs have begun to weaken and your heart has started to grow weary…  Maybe your faith feels as if it’s wearing out, and you feel as if you have nothing left to give.

..Hold on; press deeper; be still.

Maybe, in this season, God has you right where He wants you to be. A place where you recognize you can no longer walk any further in this life journey without His daily presence nor without another’s prayers or comforts.

Maybe He has you right where you need to be and instead of trying to frantically swim to the shore, you pause and recognize He is beckoning you to wade with Him in the deep. Wade with Him in the discomfort, in the agony, in the pain, in the anxiety, in the sorrow, in the joy, and in the sadness.

And maybe He is whispering out to you, “Come, child. Trust Me. I have you. I am yours and you are Mine.”

Because while change is hard, it is also a necessary part of life that allows us to grow, expand and chisel us into the human we are intended to be.

Keep pressing in. You are not alone in this for He is with you.. always. And we, at Hope Ministries, are here rallying around you.

With Love,
Hope Ministries
