For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

In this Christmas season, may we rest our souls knowing that it is only by grace that we have been given the Ultimate gift of peace, rest, and eternal life. May we acknowledge all of our to-do lists with an open hand, shower grace upon ourselves when we need to say “no” to little takss and remember there is nothing we can do that can earn us God’s favor except trusting in His ultimate goodness.
Jesus, we ask that You would shower grace, rest, and peace not only on our hearts in this holiday season but also upon the many Tanzanians whom we care so deeply for in this holiday season as well.
