He will wipe every tear away from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

This world we currently live in is full of brokenness. This world is full of pain, tears, heartache, sickness, horrific diseases and major catastrophes. In this day and age, we must consistently cling to the Hope of what is yet to come.. what has yet to be.
For God promises us all that there will be a day where there are no more tears, where the crying has stopped and the mourning has ceased. He promises us that every disease, heartache, and deadly situation will come to a halt, and that His Love will return forever and conquer all our sins and inequities.
So how do we live in the here and now, in the brokenness of this all?
We rejoice in the moment. We join in on the laughter; we cry with those who are heavy hearted. We choose to say “I’m sorry” first. We decide to place others before ourselves, and we make the decision to follow His beckoning call on our individual lives. It’s when we begin to place God at the forefront of our every day that our eyes are truly opened, our ears can finally hear, and our mouths can finally speak.
This world is broken. Yes. This world is aching, absolutely. But we have a Hope that not even the darkest of days can conquer. So today, let’s help out a stranger; let’s pray for our loved ones, and let’s say “yes” to the call that Jesus has placed in our very own hearts.
