The “Why” Behind Our Ministry

Help the poor, feed the lowly and heal the sick all through a Higher Power other than our own.

We can easily be encouraged and locate the “why” behind our ministries by simply opening up our Bible and digging into God’s good Word.

God’s abundantly clear on how He desires us to treat others and those around us: the rich, the poor. The broken hearted, the healed.. We are all called to serve on a mission far Greater than our own.

Here are just some few examples below of how God pursues the lowly, loves the fatherless, encourages the widows, heals the broken, and in return fights for justice for all just as we do here at Hope Ministries.

//

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
(Matthew 25:40)

And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
(Micah 6:8)

He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.(Deuteronomy 10:18)

But he (Jesus) was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
(Isaiah 53:5)

God loves justice. He fights for the oppressed, and He continues to heal the wounds of the broken hearted. So we too, at Hope Ministries, are going to continue to step up and fight for His love in this broken world. We are going to heal the lowly in Tanzania. We are going to feed the least of these amidst Africa, and we are going to love and cherish the fatherless at every single orphanage that we encounter.

For if God is with us, then who can be against us?

With Love,

Hope Ministries
