Taste of Hope Fundraiser Canceled
We are sad to report that we have postponed our April 16th Fundraiser at The Pointe in Elk Point due to CDC recommendations regarding the corona virus. I hope you will find it in your heart to donate via our web site or mail because we still have medical tuition fees and continued medical care for the needy patients in Tanzania (TZ). Julius, my TZ assistant, will continue to contact me with patient requests and needs. We will remain in contact with the TZ doctors that we work with to help them and patients as much as we can.
I also will not be bringing a medical team to TZ in May, this news is very upsetting to the people there, but for the safety of everyone it is the best decision.
Also, I am sorry to report that there is confirmed cases of the virus in Tanzania, and they are all so very scared and fearful for their lives. Many are inquiring as to what they can do for prevention of this virus.
Let us all take time and pray that we will not live in fear, but know that God is present to guide and protect us. Don’t let fear take you away from the one person who is always with you! Talk and pray to God and He will bring you peace during these stressful times.
