..And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer, and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
When the current season we walking in seems to grow long and our legs begin to grow weary, may we fix our eyes back upon the cross and what Jesus endured for the sake of our soul. May we be reminded of all the things He has previously blessed us with and allow Him to place pure Joy back within our own hearts even over the littlest of things.
May we pray over our own walks of Faith today and also pray for all of those struggling in Tanzania, that we would all be encouraged, that God would provide each of us strength and that we could run the race in which He has set before us today.
