Happy New Year to all my friends and family. Wishing you many blessings in 2019. As I reflect back on 2018 I thank God for the many blessings that we have received at Hope Ministries. I am most grateful for all of your love, prayers and support during this year and it is because of all of you that Hope Ministries has been able to help so many people in Tanzania. I wish you could all be here with me to experience and see first hand how people’s lives are being changed. We have experienced many hard times as well as good times but we have been blessed to have God by our sides to provide us guidance and strength.
I have been busy with meetings and preparations for the team coming in. They are on their way here and I am anxious to see them all. Please pray for their safe journey.
I had the pleasure of spending New Years with some friends here in Arusha and had a lovely time at a friend’s lodge. Sorry to say I did not stay awake to see in the New Year.
A friend came to visit me last night and we are working on getting this young lady to Mwanza, where she will have surgery. She sent me a video begging me for help because she had this large tumor and no money to have surgery. Through your donations Hope Ministries will be covering all of her medical costs. Please pray for this beautiful girl, as it is going to be a long and difficult surgery. She and her community and church have been praying for a long time that she would receive some help so that she will have a chance at life. Here is a picture of this beautiful girl.
