In the Waiting

Sometimes there are days, weeks, even seasons of life where we desire God’s answers, plans and presence to align perfectly together, and yet when we look around, it feels as though God has been nothing but silent. Maybe it’s waiting for a new job to roll around, or waiting patiently to hear back from the doctor’s office with your current medical results, or for us in Tanzania waiting just because you are in “African Time.” No matter the wait, no matter the situation, God tells us that those who wait are abundantly blessed (Isaiah 30:18).

Friends and family, whatever your circumstances may be, whatever the hurt that may be consuming your entire life right now, may we place everything at the feet of Jesus. And may we wait patiently with active zeal for God’s Glory to shine through. May we be still and know that His ways are good, righteous, and holy. And may we be reminded that God works all things together for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28). There is a Hope, friends and family. May we be still. May we trust, and may we know that God is here, God is faithful and God is good even in the midst of all our waiting.

For the Lord is a God of justice, blessed are those who wait for Him.
Isaiah 30:18
